I am anxiously waiting on delivery of a Hamann machined billet aluminum dead pedal for the Cayenne from their US distributor, WheelPower.
Will post pics as soon as I get it.

Frank,
The US importer is www.wheelpower.com.
I have been waiting since late December when I first heard about them.
They are machined billet, similar to their BMW pedals, so I'm sure I won't be disappointed if and when I finally get them.
I might have a picture at home, if I do I will post it.

Thanks Lewis.

I was just talking to a rep. at Rennline who said they will have a new line of light aircraft grade aluminum dead pedals for the '03 & '04 Cayenne. They should be out in ~3 weeks - just check their website: rennline.com. I have no affiliation with them.

I have bought a set of black anodized aluminum "street" pedals, base board, & dead pedal for my 993 from them in the past. They are very well made.

Fits Cayenne too

Looks best when you do the emergency brake pad.

Info here: PORSCHE CAYENNE - VW TOUAREG DEAD PEDALS AND EMERGENCY BRAKE PADS

Pedal is $75 plus shipping. Pad is $19 plus shipping.

I have purchase the dead pedal from spockat using paypal and everything was fine. Installation is easy and it looks like it came from the factory. Only regret is not getting it sooner to preserve the orginal condition of the factory dead pedal.

I agree I wish I had had mine earlier to stop the dirt trap collecting dirt.

Mine came in few days and fit in 10 seconds without screw holes or physical damage.

Looks nice. I'm still waiting to see the dead pedal being manufactured by Rennline. I spoke with their Rep. recently (again) who said they should be ready for sale/marketing any day now. They are bolt on. I didn't ask if they had a piece to fit over the emergency brake pedal (looks nice Spockcat! I may be ordering from you if I don't like the other pedal ).

Techart is also planning on releasing a deadpedal for the Cayenne to match the stock accelerator and brake pedals on the S and Turbo. The German website has it listed, but no pictures yet....

http://www.techart.de/homee_gesamt.htm

Go under Tuning-Program for Cayenne, then Interior.

Also, check out the Multimedia setup - looks very nice.

Just received dead pedal from Spockcat and also got Touareg V8 acc and brake pedals from local VW dealer. The design of Touareg ones seem to match Spockcats dead pedal better than Cayennes own.
Can´t tell you how they fit though, since my Cayenne will only arrive around Aug-Sep time...

Mika

P.S. CWiz: I´ve seen pics of three pedal Cayenne with stainless steel-rubber pedals, maybe manual Cayenne S has them as standard?

I just got the word from Rennline Products (rennline.com) who said their Cayenne dead pedal looks amazingingly like the stock pedal and come with the same perforated rubber backing!

They do not require any drilling (attaches to the plastic sidewall). They told me they are doing a photo shoot for marketing now and that production will start next week. They said to call next week if the product is not up on their website to order them (he said that their website is very slow to post new products). They did not quote me a price yet.

Their Telephone No. is (802) 655-5311.

I still don't like the stock pedals. The aluminum ones were well worth it. I just think if you're going to pay for the dead pedal, it might be worth it to replace the whole set.
