Official factory service interval is 160k miles or 16 years (really).

I did mine at 120k and the fluid came out pretty clean.

Agree, same here, nothing unusual for mine @ 120000 mile.

40℃ at running and 40℃ at still are same? It seems a bit overfill won't do anything bad since this design won't produce a very precise result by nature.

40 degrees C at running is very different than not running as the pump is moving a fair amount of fluid throughout the trans. I believe you be underfilled if you attempt to do it not running.
