TPMS Faux Pas

TPMS Faux Pas
My tyre guy very helpfully offered to remove my TPMS sensors from my old 957 wheels in readiness for the transfer to my new 20" rims. The only problem is that he did not label the sensors and just popped them in a bag for me, so now I haven't a clue which wheel they came from.
Is there any way I can figure out where they will need to go without needing recoding?

It make take several miles for them to get coordinated. When switching to my winter set it took over 10 miles before they all paired up correctly. The dealer was concerned, as the tech had taken it out for their normal mile or two trip to check... and they didn't. It wasn't until I'd driven it home, having stopped/parked once or twice along the way before they all finally got squared away.

I switched rear tires on my 09 Boxster to even out the wear and squeeze on more track session out of them. Immediately got a TPMS error. I put TPMS in learn mode to correct. Not sure if it would have automatically "relearned". My TPMS have batteries and have replaced twice along with new tires.
