Default Rearview Camera with Android Stereo help please

I've searched for the answers on here and Renntech and I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. I bought an Android Cayenne stereo, It was all plug and play. I just have to hook up the 12+ constant, the 12+ switched, and the ground from the MOST box. The GPS antenna was a snap to install and I used the microphone from the Voicecom 2000 that the old owner had installed. My problem is where do I connected the aftermarket rearview camera power to? I could just connect the power of the camera to the reverse lights in the rear of the car. But where do I connect the android unit reverse in wire to, so it will trigger the screen to go to the camera? At the shifter according to ProDemand there is a red/yellow for reverse power so that might not be correct. Do I connect to that?

Does the android unit need a positive or negative switching feed to activate the rear camera screen?

There is pretty much no manual on it. It just says reverse in orange with a black stripe. I would assume they are a negative switched line but got me? It's a Hipzo, pretty much the same as a Seicane. Oh forgot to mention, the unit came with a canbus decoder. Maybe it knows it's in reverse?

Just an update if anyone installs an Android stereo. It doesn't need a hookup for the reverse camera. I assume the canbus knows it's in reverse and turns on the camera!

Yep. The radio receives the signal from the Can-Bus. I installed my Android head unit and worked immediately. I also put one in my daughters Jeep Wrangler and couldn't get it to work, then I realized the Jeep Can-Bus does not send a signal for a manual transmission car, and had to quickly splice into the Android wiring for it to receive the signal. Works like a champ

Excellent! Too bad something happened to my camera while installing it. It's all blurry and squiggly, but I did test it before installing it. I'm going to run a temporary cable to the head unit and see if I maybe nicked it installing it. I forgot to buy a microphone for the bluetooth so I won't remove the head unit until it comes in from Amazon, then I can test.

My Seicane does not autodetect reverse despite the rest of the canbus features working properly. At first I was a little pissed, but then I realized I can manually activate and prefer that as I rarely use the reverse camera anyways. I find it most valuable when I have expensive toys in tow and I can watch them in the hitch basket.
