Default 957 Rear Kessy antenna part numbers

Happy new year gents,

My rear hatch kessy access stopped working, the PIWIS scan tool showed faults in the kessy antennas which are under the rear bumper.

Would anyone be able to give me part numbers please, its a 2008, 957 Cayenne Turbo.

Likely it is not the antennae at all. How many of the 6 antennae show a fault?

had the same problem 2yrs ago, found posts here and pelican about changing the switch, antenna and so on.
turned out to be the comfort settings, you need to have the 'tailgate' box checked and auto unlock unchecked, or some such combination.
try messing with the settings before ordering parts.

All the other doors + the plastic ignition key are working.

PN for the outer antennas is 955 647 102 00

Checked around and it looks like the Touareg and Phateon use the same antennas. VW pn 3D0909133E, they come slightly cheaper.

Will check the Comfort settings, thanks!

Stands to reason that both antennae wouldn't go bad @ once. The Kessy CU is really easy to get to and take the case off of to check the resistance of the 6 resistors. This is where the antennae faults usually come from. Of course you can throw parts @ the wall and see what sticks. Personally I don't have the money for that.

Thanks for the thought, I will check the Kessy CU before ordering the antennas.

Removed the Kessy CU today, checked the resistance of the 6 resistors and everything is fine there.
So ordered the 2 keyless antennas for the Touareg today, will let you guys know if everything works once they arrive.

Looking for an update too.
my rear tailgate is unlocking intermitently. Icarscan says rear antennaes. I cleared it a couple times and it started working again for a few months, now not working again so would like to know if the antennae are the culprit.

I have found that the foam in the bumper that the antennas sit in, tend to collect water and sit there, causing corrosion in the connector. I have removed and cleaned them and all is good for a short while, then returns. Remove the bumper is enough of a pain and worry of breaking a tail light is not worth to do unless the antenna unit can be sealed permanently.

The lights pop right out with 2 screws just as if you were to change a bulb and the rear bumper is like 15 screws and one connector.

Well mine is working again. Funny thing, i washed it yesterday and think it's related to perhaps corrosion and gets wet during myv wash. I get up under the exhaust and bumper good. Dried out all yesterday and over nite and was fine this morning.
as luck would have it, i just bought a hitch, and will be installing it soon, so I will check and clean the antenna connections. I order one new antenna from ECS with the new bolts for my hitch,,so i have that in case it's not the connections.
ill post back after the hitch install.
