Default Cylinder 5 Injector Circuit High
Just replaced my valve cover to fix a leaky PCV membrane, (2008 V6) car ran great for 29 miles then started to bog down, idles rough and chugs under load. Threw out code P0274 which reads out at “Cylinder 5 Injector Circuit High” a quick search makes it seem like this isn’t a common cayenne code. I replaced the fuel rail seals when I did the valve cover, and don’t see or smell any fuel leaks.

any ideas?

Check resistance on the injector, the connector, and the wiring.

I got that code for a faulty connector. The insulation cracks and then the wire strands break at that spot. Just looked, yours is GDI and I do not have that spec.

Well, went to pull the injectors and noticed there was part of the wiring that looked crushed. Pulled back the tape and sure enough, the twisted pair for cylinder 5 had worn through its insulation and was shorting itself out!. Now i get to return the $400 dollars worth of injectors that I bought
