Default Removing GTS Flares

Hi All, I have to replace my rear bumper cover and am getting a new OEM part that doe snot have the GTS flares. I have to swap the ones from my existing bumper to the new one. My question is, how is it attached? I can't see tabs or anything. Is it adhesive? Any tips would be great so I am not breaking plastic bits in the cold weather here.

If I remember right it is just double sided tape. You will need to get more of it at an auto parts store. Hope that helps

Old school waxed dental floss to get them off and gorilla glue double sided tape to put them back on.

That is a huge help! Thank you. I will apply some heat to it before trying to peel it off. Cheers.

There are adhesive removers better designed for cars. Turtle Wax makes T-529. I've used it with success and no paint complications.
Amazon Amazon

Be careful about applying heat. You don't want to deform the bond between the paint and the bumper plastic. And not just in the immediate area but outward toward where the heat isn't being applied. I say this because it's winter and your profile mentions Philly. Best to keep the vehicle indoors in a well-heated space to get the overall temp up before attempting any spot applications of heat. With floss and adhesive remover you might not have apply much (or any) heat.
