I almost got one. There was red, grey interior one with PDCC in Florida with 39K on odometer. I inquired, on Thursday, they got back to me on Monday that it was sold over the weekend. Found one without PDCC in Washington state, originally California car with 32K, no PDCC, red with black interior (I prefer). Car was mistakenly marked as Automatic, so know one even noticed. Had her shipped back home to Cali where she belongs with me LOL. So got me preferred interior color, no PDCC. I am ok with that.

Even without it I think the Cayenne's limit's are higher than most's skill level. I can certainly see the merits of having it for all out or as Petza explained but it's also more components to fail.

For me, it's a must have, just like full leather interior. Will a Cayenne without it drive just fine - sure it will, probably better than most SUVs of it's size or class. Does having PDCC take the handling of a 5,000 lb truck to an amazing and hard to believe level - you bet it does. If all you do is drive around town or do long highway trips, you'll probably never miss it. If you run up the mountains or look at on-ramps as an opportunity to really "see what this baby can do" then you'll certainly miss it.
Amen Pete. Regular Cayennes drive better than most SUV's but the PDCC makes it amazing! Even my non car enthusiast wife notices. She used to always comment how flat my GTS cornered and she has ridden in lots of other p-cars. Unfortunately I rarely get to drive my GTS anymore but whenever I pull it out of hibernation, it reminds me why I can't get myself to sell it as I know the PDCC with 6MT will be hard to find if I ever want another. Mine also has the full leather (must have) and 4 zone AC (nice to have), I was lucky someone else ordered it with those expensive options!
