Ah, wire 5? Its a white wire. No blue wires. And the 3 wires you mentioned are all part of socket A, so I can still leave socket C alone I guess...? Thanks!!

I just used a meter, and wire 4 is 12V, but wire 5 is .01V when key is on. Will that change with MOST adapter connected?

Yep, I have a blue "ANT:POWER" wire on the android harness. So MOST ACC (red wire) goes to this one? So the headunit becomes the switched power?

Correct.
You need canbus socket to use mapped steering wheel buttons I think.

I will run the ACC red wire from the headunit to a switched 12v source. And then just need to find where the orange "Illuminate" wire goes... lol

Thanks so much Jonathan. I've been reading your writeup all afternoon!

I got a different head unit. Android, but only 1 harness with only 1 blue wire.

orange illuminate... if it's spliced out of Android power harness that is the reverse signal for turning on backup camera.

You're very welcome. I made lots of progress on the instructional video edits today I was inspired by your enthusiasm lol

without second blue wire I suggest skipping radio antenna all together and trying blue wire to MOST ACC. Might still be underpowered but might work for now.

I uploaded Part 1 of probably 2 parts and I linked it in my evolving installation thread. If you watch it please give me some feedback so I can make part 2 better.

Default Clips for vent

Watching video now. Super helpful! Noticed at 5:30 in your video you simply pry the upper speaker vent off. Mine (06 Cayenne S) has 2 screws you have to unscrew first. Want to make sure folks dont just pry if it's like mine.

2 screws

ok, back to video...!
