Default Roof Strips

Has anyone got these yet, they fit into those little troughs on the roof (where the water collects until you brake hard)

the waterfalls comes from the big holes where the roofrails can be fitted in so the small strips dont help too much in this case. I ordered the rails for my new Cayenne coming end of january/beg february nearly only for that reason. the 2 main rails are around 600 euros and for this lill plastic stripes they ask for additional 300!! too much for the stripes IMO

very good idea! a couple of things like eg the big plastic mat for the trunk costs not even the half of the PAG price by VW. maybe you really find your stuff there

Do the trunk liners or the rubber trunk mats for the Tourag fit the Cayenne?

Mike,

I bought and installed both the new roof rails AND the roof strips. Yes, they are expensive (about $1K from Porsche at wholesale prices), but I think it's finishes out the car very nicely. I'll try to take some pictures this week once I get the car cleaned up. I ordered my rails and strips from Boardwalk Porsche here in Dallas. They were able to get them in about two weeks - although Park Place Porsche (another Dallas dealer) told me that the rails and strips are on nation-wide backorder and have been for three weeks. (The Park Place team was really annoyed when I told them that Boardwalk got the parts in).

Anyway, I like the look of the rails on the S. The strips are not really functional, but they add to the overall look. The back page of the current Tequipment catalog shows them installed. Entire installation of rails and strips took 30 minutes, tops.

I dont know what u mean with "liners" cuz my english is bad but the
mats will fit. Get a Touareg A´ccesoires catalouge from a VW dealer -
you cant use all of the parts but a couple of them.

Default Roof rails

Hey everyone.I dont have a porsche but i do have the Touareg.I am just needing some help to find out if the porsche roof rails will attach to the top of my touareg.Quite a few people have said that it should but i just want to be positive before i purchase this item. This is a feature that i really like and i know it will cut down on wind noise for sure. Also give it a sleek look as well.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
P.S.Here is a pic of the strips if this is what you all are looking for.If not just let me know and i will take more pics of other things. Thanks

Thanks for the great Picture, and yes there is no doubt that the rails will fit on yours.

Did you fit the strips yourself using the template or did the dealer do it ? also do you know how much VW charge for them ?

The Touareg roof strips are definitely different. They are a lot wider and not indented as on the Cayenne. So much for us using VW parts.
