From 955 CTT to 957 CTT
Hi guys
I'm reading and posting here sometimes since about summer 2016 because I owned a 955 CTT.
The 955 reached the 200'000km and I decided to change it to a newer one because of reliability
(althought I had no problems and 0% of to do list).
I am really happy with this CTT of 2008, and it is in a very good condition with about 100'000km (60'000miles).
Not many important visible parts have changed compared to the 955 CTT. Most important things I can see
for servicing are, that there are no air pumps to remove for changing the spark plugs or there are no injection
valves like the old ones.
This car has many opt. accessories like :
- Porsche Entry and Drive (important for me)
- PDCC (most important for me to buy this car)
- 21" Sport wheels 10x21" with summer tires 295/35 R21
- Privacy glass
- Light comfort package
- Blackline
- TV
- 20" with winter tires
- Alcantara roof
and so on
After I picked up the car I could really not understand how a Porsche Center can deliver a car with following faults :
- The Porsche Center was not able to fill the right level of oil, I had to fill up another 1.5liters
- one Xenon bulb had a purple color
- while driving the car, the coolwater temperature fell to 40-60°C, so the thermostat had to be changed
- The middle seat beld of the back seat was torn, so they tied it up manually in the bracket. It was not useful
So I did following reps :
- Fill up Lubricant levels
- Changed both Xenon bulbs to OSRAM DS1 Cool Blue Hyper 6000K 66140CBH
- PC changed Thermostat, whater pump and belt
- PC removed defective seat belt on the back and replaced it
And I did following upgrades :
- I mounted immediately wheel spacers :-)
- Installed the Dension BT500 (GW52MO2)
- I installed a system which allows me to close the elec. tailgate remotely by key
- have the VCDS and bought Durametric because I could not read the engine control unit.
- Lowered the CTT 25mm by durametric
I hope this car will bring me many kms or miles from A to B to C .... to Z :-)
The pics are done by the dealer because I had no time to do some better ones

Thank you guys, note that the CTT in the pics is in orig. height and not in lowered mode.
The unit I installed to close the tailgate by remote is from germany and the company is Kufatec.
The installation in the trunk is very tricky, and you have to remove the complete right and
top panels. I spent 3 hours and I installed this unit because from one side it is a cool feature, and
I had to install the dension with the CD-changer cables anyway. So I've done 2 in 1 jobs, and I
accepted scratches and wounds on my hands
