When I bought by 2013 Cayenne Turbo, I was never fond of the wheels. After looking at some very expensive black wheels to replace them, a friend suggested getting my wheels painted instead. I was skeptical that they would not look good and worried that I would ruin my wheels. After putting it off for a few months I finally decided to get them painted. I'm really happy with the results. I attached a before and after photo. Next up I want to blackout the window trim, roof rails, and the chrome plate under the lift gate. I'm looking in to having them "wrapped". I'm going to paint the exhaust tips with high heat (barbecue grill) paint myself. Does anyone have experience with having chrome items vinyl wrapped?

I like the wheels. Looks 100X better in black.
You may also want to try a spray on Plasti Dip on the window trim. Easy enough to remove if you don't like it.

I had wheels on my 955 painted as well and I like it. In my experience - paint last about 4 years.

To each their own, but I really liked the car in the original pic where the silver accents in the wheels complimented the silver window trim and vice versa, rather than the solid black murdered out look.
