Default Passenger seat tire inflator

Has anyone had trouble inflating their tires via the air hose connection under the front passenger seat? While fiddling with the car I tried it with the air hose and got nothing (no air) out of it. The ride height compressor works fine.

Is there a seperate compressor for tire inflation under the passenger seat or is the connection merely an outlet for the ride height/suspension compressor?

Anyway, I've got an appointment to have it checked out at the dealer next week and will post an update if anyone is interested.

It's the same compressor for both and I have used it. It worked fine for me. I used the factory hose under the rear seat. It is a screw-on connection if that helps.

Thanks GM, I used the hose under the back seat AND made sure the connection was tight. Still no go.

The good news is its all one compressor and if the ride height is working maybe there is just a restriction somewhere. Hopefully it'll be a painless trip to the dealer.

Thanks for you input.

Hi dawtar...

How are you. Are you in your TT. I'm curious as to how you made out and I'm sure others (who followed your saga) are interested.

Perhaps a new thread?

If not best of luck...

Default As someone said quickly, the hose screws...

...onto the fitting in the seat base. It'll hiss a little as it's going on correctly.

I'm bumping this instead of creating a new thread. I do not have the hose under my rear seat, does anyone know how to find the part number for this hose? thanks.
