Default Funniest Automotive Writing

We seem to spend a fair amount of time worrying about the next round of drivel on Autospies. How about nominating favorites for automotive writing and--God forbid--even criticism? I'll kick off by suggesting Jeremy Clarkson of the Times of London. Try this review of the Cayenne TT:

Warning: keep your tongue firmly in cheek, your upper lip stiff and all prescribed hypertension meds close to hand!

Did anyone notice on page 3 of the article in the picture, that this particular Cayenne Turbo has yet to have its rear check valve replaced?????

Nice to know that P.A.G. is still delivering them with bad valves!!!!

Yes. VERY fun to mention WWII Lords together with a todays car - fun like to mention the WTC disaster or Hiroshima together with a Boeing Airplane review.

Tasteless BS. Never readed such a crap for a long time.

Toby,

Sharp eyes! On some other post a long time ago, someone mentioned the license plate naming conventions in Germany. If I recall them correctly, the picture actually shows a factory-registered vehicle!

I guess German eyes may see it a little differently. I thought it was an entertaining review.

it`s a question from respect not nationality Austin

I think the same from all the weird "funny" WTC photoshop jobs wich
been posted allover the web even if I´m not a US citizen and I´m wondering why such BS artists dont go to Afghanistan or somewhere else
when this war stuff looks so funny for them. Really dont want to be political
but this is too much, sorry.

Warned at the outset that this guy takes no prisoners. Plus he's a Brit, and like John Cleese in Fawlty Towers, he hasn't quite recovered from WWII yet! If you read closely, however, his whole preamble is actually against the PC types who damn a company, today and in the future, for wrongdoings and indiscretions from the past. That said, no offence intended to Cay or anyone else. If you go back on that URL, you'll see an aggregation of his other reviews that are loaded with vitriol, clever humor and out and out talented writing about cars.

Cay. Most of us Brits think he's a d**khead too. He can be funny at times but mostly we cringe, especially when he reaches a 'foreign' audience. I can assure you that we have recovered from ww2 - those on here wouldn't be spending our hard earned £££s in Leipzig had we not.
Moving on, here is a piccie I took yesterday outside my OPC in Liverpool with the Mersey in the background. Went there to spec up my V6. Drove both steel & air and the air is SO much better. Have chosen the carmon / havanna just like the one pictured

Guys,

I`m really not offended in person and I`m not be involved in wars and
even my parents not. I am also not a hardass . I just feel ashamed for
people who can be offended with reading such a rubbish crap cuz they`ve
been involved and can`t laugh about this.

Humor is
ok on most of things outa there buts not acceptable talking from war, Idiots
like Hitler was or any case where humans been harmed so badly in a funny manner. If you just show **** signs here in public you are in deep trouble
and you go in jail. Its prohibited here by law and I totally agree with that.

If Madonna wears a green T-Shirt today, tomorrow tons of kids will doing the same. And I dont want that any kid hear adults talking in a funny way
from such things becouse they are not cool. Thats all and really nuff said to this.
