Default Looking for performance parts

The car is a manual 03 Boxster S. We are trying to find a good bolt ons for it. U know such, intake, exhaust, headers, and Chip or ECU upgrade. I heard that the headers will lose low end power and only give 6HP top end which is not worth it. I dont know if u guys know good headers that will help down low and top end too. Also we were looking for 20mm spacer so we can make the wheels a beefier look. So what do u suggest guys?

Thanks.

Intake does little more than sound cool, unless combined with exhaust side upgrades. Headers and 100 cell cats make the biggest improvement on the 3.2, since that is one of the places Porsche restricted the motor to keep it in perspective with the 3.4 996.

Spacers are fine, but be sure to get good hubcentric spacers, like H&Rs. Otherwise you'll have difficulty balancing the wheel, and the entire weight of the car will be hung on the wheel studs instead of the hubs (very bad).

What kind of gain could one expect from the above header, 100 cell cat and say GHL exhaust?

About 5hp for the 100 cell cats and zero hp gain for the GHL but with no hp lost, just for sound..and oh what a sound! 100 cell cats would work better with an addition of headers.

Headers can add as much as 10-12hp. All told, the whole exhaust swap should prove worth almost 20hp.
