Cool How Many Miles on your Boxster?

Just curious if anybody has any high mileage Boxsters out there. I've only got 19.5k on mine, but I plan to keep it for a long time and, as a daily + driver, rack up the mileage. I expect to see 100k before I move onto something else.

So how 'bout you? How many miles have you put on your Boxster so far? Anybody with over 100k yet?

I don't understand the low mileage. Our 02 is at 30K, but expect less miles this year then last.

I just bought the '99 this March with 12.5k miles on it. I've put 7k in six months, so I'm pretty much on my way to just under 15k a year. Although I probably won't drive it all the time over winter, so maybe 12k a year is more realistic. Either way, it's no garage queen!

I've had mine for a little over a year (380 days) and have 20.25K on the clock, so I suspect it's going to be a high mileage car once I've had it a while. Only thing that's had to be done so far is the rear main seal and an all around tightening of the suspension components (all warranty). I suspect the suspension maintenance is going to have to be a regular thing since it seems to loosen after 3 or 4 events (either autocrosses and/or track days).

Well, I thought it woud be in detail on my invoice, but no luck. I think they we around and re-torqued the sway bar, ball joints, struts, etc. Don't really know for sure. But the steering felt brand new again.

I had it aligned (highly recommended even for fresh from factory cars) last week and, again it felt firmer, more responsive. 'Course some of that might have to do with my new camber settings.

Sorry I can't be of more help autobahnNY.

I asked the service tech to look into a rattling in the engine bay area, and there was a noticable squeek from the rear suspension when going over speed bumps. Plus I complained about a few other nit-picky items. So I guess they figured that I was an **** ***** and that they should just make sure the car was perfect before giving it back to me .
