Classic Fuchs on a Boxster?

Classic Fuchs on a Boxster?
Has anyone put old-style 911 Fuchs on their Boxster? Is there any reason why I couldn't? I think it'd look awesome.
Some of the more modern Fuchs-style wheels I've seen on the Boxster look like something that belongs on a donk, and like they're meant to continue to spin freely when you come to a stop.

They won't fit, not even close. Offsets and backspacing are way off, I believe the bolt patterns are different as well.
Fuchs does make a modern line of Porsche performance wheels. They are quite nice but not cheap.

Yeah, I figured they wouldn't fit...not even close.
Thanks for the links. Some of these are better than others, & some get close enough to the classic look to satisfy.
These modern wheels look a bit better to me without the polished hearts, which is ironic because I absolutely prefer hearts on the classic wheel. On the modern wheels the spokes tend to be longer and thinner, and the larger wheel sizes augment the difference. Especially with hearts, the modern wheels end up looking like wagon wheels to me.

Well, may be it could be interesting to mention here that the originals, were made by Otto Fuchs (a 100 years old large company) in Germany, (felge in german means rim).
(see: www.otto-fuchs.com)
To my knowledge, the company mentionned in one of the link above, i.e.: fuchsperformance, has nothing to do with the original.
It is a small CA co, that made an identity theft, and that copied the design of the original rim. So, in my view, ..this is like having on your wrist a "Rolex made in China !)
Btw, Im still curious to understand how the mother (large) german co, stll let this running !
Particularly now, that Otto Fuchs re-started production of the original design, and assigned a distributor in the USA !
I thing, here, I should add that I can certify under perjury that I have no interest of any kind, in the car rim business.

Maybe look into Plasti Dip spray cans of removable rubber in colors. I saw a set of turbo twist wheels done and they looked really nice. Possible best part is that if you don't like the look or color the stuff peels off easily. If you do like the look you can do your entire car.

Certain setups will fit. You need to find the correct offset. This is at least fitting over the smaller non-S brakes, I have not tryed after I put the larger S setup on.
I am shocked someone stayed it was a different bolt pattern. It's all 5x130 except for the 914's and the Macan.
I ran a square setup of late offset 944 phone dial 8"ers on my non-S while we scrubbed in the tires for our lemons car. Here is a pic

Also, I ran a set of design90's for the same reason, shown here

The way I see it, if these rims fit on a Boxster and a 944T...and the Fuchs fit on a 944T, they will probably fit on a Boxster. Do some offset research, and just make sure you check your spoke to caliper clearance before driving off and ruining expensive Fuchs and Boxster calipers
