I have a lady friend w/ '99 base Boxster that may have bad brake calipers.
-anyone know the part #s?
-any leads on orig. replacements or a good dealer source?
-I have some good, used frt '01 Cup calipers w/ part#996 351 429/30...any chance these would fit?

her inde does not have time to rebuild existing...
TIA!

Are you sure it isn't the brake booster locking up? That is a known issue with water getting into it. Cup calipers bolt spacing is too far apart I believe.

Check eBay but rebuilding calipers is easy. Or find another mechanic.
