Mike - I got readings of 1.01 engine not running and 1.28 - 1.33 at idle with warmed up engine. Not sure if that is considered approx. 1.4?????

ToSi - it's called "paralysis by analysis"

I installed my new MAF this week and the CEL is now out. FRA reading +1.01 and RKAT reading -0.09. I'm happy!!! Wish I was smart enough to use the software to know it was the MAF but at least it got me close. Thanks to you, Macster and mikefocke for inputs on this troubleshooting effort.

Cheers, I've been known to struggle through the very same ailment...

This (& other common issues) should be covered in a sticky topic at the top of the forum though.

1. Rich at idle / lean at high rpm = mafs.
2. Smoke & whistle at idle = aos
3. Top wont raise = pull rod ends
4. Flashing coolant light = check level / replace reservoir.
5. etc...
