Default I need opinions!! Please help.

I have a 986 Boxster with OEM wheels that I want powdercoated and am powdercoating them this weekend. I have made a photobucket album on all of the company's different "Black Samples". As of right now i am leaning towards their "CPC Black" Color. In the album I made are all of their black samples.
Which ones do you guys prefer??

My car is Guards Red.

Thanks again Here is the link-

For me, hands down, Tech Black.

Silver. A red car with black wheels just doesn't do it for me.

X 3 for silver, or polished aluminum which allows you to repolish out minor curb damage. The whole matte black movement has been played out & has the automotive equivalent of your date "just putting her hair in a ponytail because she didn't have time to wash it".

The thing about modding a car is you do it to please yourself. There are tons of opinions out there and for your car the only one that counts is yours. I also prefer silver wheels, but if black makes you happy, black it is. There is a reason car manufacturers offer so many colors both inside and out. We all have out likes and dislikes. Get those wheels powder coated black and enjoy! I mean get them powder coated in Tech Black and enjoy.

if you are going to do it- i like the cpc. imo the black wheels are a personal preference that doesnt necessarily enhance the total look of a car for every application and if you are going to sell soon it may limit your market. good luck- maybe you will do it and not want to sell!

Yea I agree. After looking over all the powdercoating options I think I like the CPC Black the most. I feel like it looks cleaner and classier....

Well, you might think that your point would be self-evident to everyone, yet I'm surprised at the number of people who ask "opinion" questions like which wheels they should buy, what color should their new car be, etc.

I agree that modding should be done to please the owner and no one else. But the fact that the OP asked for an opinion means that he's uncertain, and that he's going to get ideas that either support his initial thinking or contradict it. In a sense, this makes the forums fun for the respondents, and perhaps of some use to the OP.

It seems that we never get tired of these questions because they always garner an enthusiastic response from us.
