Default 996 > Boxster 3.4L swap candidate FS

I posted this in the FS section also... thought the Boxster guys may be interested in a swap candidate motor.
...................
I'm doing an engine swap this winter to get more power for my 996 track toy.
Therefore I will probably have a running 3.4L cable throttle engine for sale in a few months. This post is a feeler to get an idea of the market for these engines. It will help me budget for my build. I've seen prices all over the place on these. From $4000 with damage to $10,000 for "rebuilt". Given the mileage on mine I'm thinking something in between. Trying to gauge what the RL community thinks.

Engine details:
3.4L cable throttle M96 from '99 Carrera C2
No modifications
Runs strong. Can provide videos of track performance.
80k miles (~15K since I've ad it)
Engine is still in car and runs fine
Will pull filter and photograph element when ready to sell

Known issues: (have not yet pulled engine)
Small Valve cover leak that drips on header occasionally
Small leak from bellhousing (will know if this is IMS or RMS when I pull it)

When I pull it I can do the RMS or IMS if buying so desires. Just pay for the parts & $100 for labor.

If interested let me know and we can talk details.
Again this is not going to be available until later this winter.
