IMS upgrade went well. The OEM bearing looked really good and came out easily with the LN tool. We'll probably bolt everything up on Friday and see how it runs!

Default Lightvweight flywheel & sports clutch

Installed. Those were easy. Getting the transmission aligned and bolted, not so easy.

Are you using a stock pressure plate and clutch with that LWFW?

No sir. Using the Sachs Sports clutch kit specified for the AASCO flywheel. I don't believe you can use OEM hard clutch disk with the solid flywheel. We looked the dimensions and they're different. Also, that would mean increased shock to the crank with hard sifting. Like-wise, I don't think you can use the Sachs spring loaded sports clutch disk with the OEM dual mass flywheel. It appears the throw-out bearing and clutch fork measurements don't work. The pressure plate is a whole 'nother question. My recommendation is to either go with OEM pressure plate, clutch disk and dual mass flywheel or do the Sachs sports clutch kit specifically for the aluminum solid flywheel. That being said... there is a solid sports clutch disk available from Sachs to match the dual mass flywheel. Has more friction surface. I'll be getting one of those for my '07 Cayman S
