Keep reading about how cool my BoxsterS can sound and perform with the intake being desnorkled, but can not find any info about how to desnorkle, I have a K&N filter ordered and would like to do it all at the same time, can anyone help me with possible instructions?
Thanks

I desnorkled my Bosxter and didn't notice even the smallest change. If I had known what I know now, I wouldn't have done it. I'm not saying it made any negative impacts, just a waste of time.

I just attempted this on my 03S and it seems that this procedure is for earlier cars as I have a different set up than in the link above. Firstly, the grill "blind" is one part with the grill itself. Then, the chicken wire is already there and it there is no hose to remove. So, either it was done by previous owner (which I doubt since it all looks too "factory"), or Porsche used this idea to get more power out of the Boxster. In which case, all doubts that this is a healthy hack should be dismissed.

Mine was done when I got the car and had the engine rebuilt. Sounds nice above 3000 RPM!!! The best kick I got was putting in the Sprintboost ... that made the car come alive .....!!!!
