Plastic Rear window buffing
I was curious if anyone has tried to buff the rear plastic window to make it clearer. If you have, what products did you use and what were your results.
I have a good buffer/polisher and foam pads.

I used novus 1-2-3 frequently until I tore the window, it works great & I still use it on my boat's dodger
it's great for removing haze & light scratches, just don't use the strongest polish on the window as it's too harsh for the soft plastic

just be carful not to buff at too high a speed or stay in one spot. You'll literally melt the plastic in that spot, and no amount of buffing will get that out. This goes for the headlight lenses too

A good plexiglas polish will work fine. It is a little work (bending and twisting to get both sides of the window), but you can do it by hand. That way there's less chance of an error and the results are just as good. That was my experience anyway.

I use Meguair's "PlastX" on my '97 rear window and it's still crystal clear.
I use a terry or microfiber cloth to apply by hand once or twice a year.
There maybe better products out there than PlastX but Meguair's products are available locally and its been working well for me.
