bud - what was your final intake plumbing solution? looks like you somehow modified the stock tubint to work?

I used an evoms cold air intake. It was a stretch to get things to fit but they did. Hopefully here in the near future I'll get around to fabricating my own intake with the proper sized tubing.

Finally got my intake finished and thought I would post pics on here for the 911 swap guys. I created a new intake tube out of fiberglass that is 3.5" in diameter the whole way, no dents or restrictions like stock, 3.5" maf housing, and new airbox. Talk about a huge difference. The power difference over the evoms intake I was running with a resistor to adjust for the 3" maf housing is huge. The power is also very smooth now and doesn't surge like it used to.




Also got Boxster S/Carrera front brakes installed this weekend too. Hopefully this will alleviate my issues with brake pads disintegrating in one weekend at the track.
