Default ?? about brake wear sensor

i put new pads on but brake wear sensor are done and i dont really need my car to tell me when my pads are low .. was curious how to eliminate the sensor indicator on my dash so its not always telling me brake wear ..

Thanx could use the advice

the sensors work by having the rotor wear thru a wire at a certain point. circuit broken, the light comes on.

cut the sensors off with a couple inches of wire hanging out of the connectors.

strip connector wires, twist (or solder) together, heat shrink. car thinks they're all good. on most cars, the light will go out as soon as the circuit is complete again, not sure about the Box.

make sure you cut the pad sensor side of the connector, not the car side, so you or someone else can put them back later if you want.

Thanx definitely appreciate it .. that makes sense being that the wires run down into the pad .. thanx again

What I have done on all my cars is take the sensor out of the pad and zip tie it out of the way.
