I will try to take a picture next time I get thee porsche out. I don't actually have a broken piece, just the space it used to be unfortunately. Should be a clear plastic piece (or close to clear) that covers the two small lightbulbs above the rearview mirror. Thanks!

If you can identify from this picture that might help. Just let me know what number it is in the picture.

I very well might have it. I'll check this evening when I get back in to town.

The cover itself is not a number, but I believe it would be the light cover that is located at the bottom of number 10. The twin circles above it should be dark tinted covers, I have those. I actually don't even know exactly what the cover would look like, but I'm sure that's where it belongs.

Also, do you have the front hood lock actuator part # 996.624.117.01. All the info I can find (not much) says it's a rear actuator for the 987, but that's my part number. My front actuator has crapped out, I have an e-mail in to Sunset Imports and I tried buying an actuator on eBay, but apparently it was an earlier version. Chances are your version is earlier as well, but it's worth a shot! Let me know if you have that cover. Thanks again.

otis, I'll check tomorrow morning. I am pretty sure I have the light piece you are asking about. I'll take a picture and post it for you. As far as the front lock actuator, I doubt it but I can take a look in my "bucket o parts"

otis....let me know if it's either of these pieces. This is all I could find in the "bucket o parts" that matches what you described. The part number on the locking looking unit is 98651205301.

Unfortunately, I think that's a double negative. I found an eBay listing for the entire dome-light. It's for a 987, but the light on there is the same as mine.

Thanks for trying!

I'll know shortly. I have a HUGE box of all the wiring that was removed from the car....something like 18 pounds worth!

This is what was connected to the rear of the stock radio. I also have the harness that was connected to the amp as well as the amp.
