Door speakers
My Boxster has door speaker locations, but the PO apparently deleted them when he added an aftermarket HU, trunk-mounted amp, and dash speakers.
I have a pair of Polk Audio 6.5 full-range speakers that I'd like to put in the doors. It'll be nice to be able to fade the dash speakers down a little so I can hear everything when the top's down.
The OEM speaker size only 5.25, but I've used 6.5's in various cars without being forced to butcher the factory locations. Has anyone installed a pair of 6.5's in the factory door location?
