alarm system on a boxster S
Little brother has an 05 that has had an undiagnosed no start, no dash lights problem for years. He bought the car as NEW in 07 from Porsche dealership. I wanted to see if this sounds right to another owner. I know his is a 987 and not a 986 but that forum get NO traffic.
When I lock the car using the key in the door and not the remote and unlock the door later with the key not the remote the alarm goes off after 5 or 10 seconds or so if the key is not inserted in the ignition slot right away. Is that normal?
