New 986 S Owner!
Hey peeps,
I am a long-time P car owner (currently also run a 964 C4 Coupe).
I am happy to have purchased a 2001 Boxster S yesterday. I attached a pic from the ad but will post more soon (does this forum have a "post pictures" thread like the others?).
Details:
Seal Grey
Blk top & leather
70K miles (full 60K service done at 56K)
nice options (litronics/18" fact. turbo wheels/more)
excl condt
all receipts from new
major recent service = rear main seals and half shaft, clutch, water pump, brakes, etc, = $6k.
Car got new tranny under warranty at 30K
New top at 45K (it looks brand new)
New Mich PS2's all around ($1,000 receipt)
nice cover
Car was garaged all its life, babied, etc,
runs and drives like new.
I paid $16,500. I think I got a great deal
I am searching and learning as much as I can.
We have an awesome new local track, and I do have a great tack prepped car in my C4, but I will likely track this car a little just for fun.
Track:

Driving the car with the top down is already my new addiction! Awesome fun.

Now.... I do not think I could live without it.
When I get another car for track, I will have to keep the Boxster for that top down experience.

I agree. Getting that thing out on the curvy roads with the top down on a nice day is one of the best things in life.
Looks like a great deal on a well-maintained car. Enjoy it!!!
