Default Anyone know what this is?

Anyone know what this is?
I tried doing a search for console bose(thinking it was part of the sound system) but couldn't find anything.
There is no speaker inside
it has a number 550.986
Don't mind the holes, the guy before me me had a xm radio unit installed there.
TIA

I would say aftermarket, maybe it works with the bluetooth setup you have in there?

That is not stock and someone really did a hatchet job on that console panel.

That is a (nasty) aftermarket add on usually used for mounting a cell phone.

Looks like an aftermarket phone console.
There was also an OEM version.

I guess I will try to find the original part number for the piece that came with car and re-install.
Or I will get a phone holder and attach it there to cover up the holes.
Thanks for the replies.

I'd get a GT3 Console delete and rip out the whole nasty unit
