I was cleaning the car the other day and noticed that the windshield was cracked.
The crack is in the center of the winshield starting at the top. It is about 3-4 inches long. It almost looks like the antenna, but it is distinctly a crack.

The ppi says that the glass passed the ppi.

So i call the dealer this morning and they say that in the 3 days since i had the car it probably cracked.

Who is to say that it was or wasn't????

I may wait until next spring and call my insurance and have them replace it. It really isn't noticeable, but may be a potential problem in the future. It will pass inspection.

Unfortunately it would seem you both may have missed it. It could have indeed been smaller almost undetectable at the PPI and began to run later. Glass can be funny that way. Do you not have any photos of the car that might support your find?

no pics, so i may have to have my insurance replace it next spring. I know i would have to prove that it was cracked at the time they inspected it.
