I saw one the the Boxster/CGT kit cars at Autobahn CC (Joliet IL) a couple years back. The dimensions were very odd; kind of like the photoshopped 911 pics, where they squeeze the car, but in real life. To make it even worse, the guy had the car painted in a metal flake (ala kit car) burnt orange color.

I did see one of those episodes on Speed where they chopped up the Boxster...I'll have to look for the final episode to see what they did.
