Default Which Power Steering Fluid and Which Wiper Blades to Buy?

I did a search but found few 986-specific recommendations.

So yeah, I need to top off my power steering fluid and was wondering what we can use and where to get it from.

I'd also like to replace the wiper blades for the first time and am unsure of which product I should buy and where from.

Any suggestions?

You can get wiper blades at any auto parts store.

If you need to top up the power steering there is a leak.

Bosch makes oem style blades, part number 582S.

I believe there is a recommended temperature the fluid needs to be at or at least checked after driven and warmed up. Might be why it it showing low.

I was worried about that but not positive. I haven't noticed any liquid deposited underneath the car or have seen a warning light but there is a little groaning going on by the steering wheel when I turn it a lot at at low speeds. I had a power steering leak in a previous car and it was almost the exact same experience.

The pump can leak, the fluid runs along the top of the engine.
Check the rack boots, see if there is any oil inside.

Go with the OEM wiper blades. I recently tried the new Rain-X blades and they were terrible.

I just replaced my wiper blades with standard ol' Anco refills. I've been using Anco for years and they work great. They are cheap enough to just toss out every 6 months (which seems to be the life span of most wiper blades regardless of cost).

OEM blades only. I've had enough of aftermarket ones not fitting properly (i.e., not curved, wrong length, chattering). The latest OEM version is a good design over the early ones.

Also, get the stock Pentosin power steering fluid. You'll likely wind up buying a quart -- a lifetime supply, and you'll be a hero among everybody in Miami who needs a top-off.

I haven't had any issue with standard Bosch blades bought at the local Autozone-type store. :dunno:

I would suggest using the OEM style blades, the "spoiler" on the driver's side and the curve to the passenger side makes them work better than the straight aftermarket blades I've tried.
