Default 993 wheels on Boxster?

Will 993 wheels fit on a Boxster? I have a set of 993 wheels with Victoracer tires and a guy with a Boxster is asking if they will fit his car.

WOW....I guess you guys dont know anything about your wheels.

Or perhaps you need more i nformation?? Standard Boxster wheels are 7 X17 (55mm) and 8.5 X 17 (50mm). The 993 wheels are 7 X 16 ET55 and 9 X 16 ET70

Is it a Boxster or a Boxster S? That may make a difference! The brake rotors and calipers are different sizes/bigger on the S. I would believe the 16" wheels may not fit on an S but might on a base. But what do I know I'm not tying to fit old 16's on my car.

I have some 18" wheels that came off my 993 and they fit my S. I do have 15mm spacers in the front and 21mm in the rear.
