Unhappy Boxster won't start...

Brought my Boxster S, MY2001, to my specialist for a clutch & flywheel replacement. Job done, now car won't start. The startmotor works but the engine won't start! Weird...and I need it for a nice mountain trip here in Europe; aarrg...

Strangest thing, my specialist says he cannot read my ECU. He asked me if I chipped the car, nope... and actually I said that recently he checked my ECU for fault codes during the service interval.

Not starting and unreadable ECU. Ideas anyone?? My holiday trip plans are starting to fade...

Any ideas welcome!!

I am not positive if its the same on the Boxster but there should be a cranks sensor that picks up the flywheel revs. If it doesnt see the flywheel moving it wont send the signal to the ECU to spark the coils.

Just a thought.

Ok, I did not know that. But, this should not disable the ability to read the ecu.
Thanks anyway.

Is that not a coincidence. You take something that is running to be worked on and not it is not. Did it start to get it home or hard down at the repair facility?
