Front suspension squeeks

Front suspension squeeks
OK... I know this could be caused by a lot of different things, but I was hoping it might be a common known problem, that had a standard solution.
My front suspension squeeks (sometimes), and it is driving me crazy.
Car: 2001 Boxster S
Mileage: 53k
Use: Daily Driver
Symptoms: The squeek comes and goes, but it is much more prevelant after driving the car for a while. It appears to be coming from both sides in the front of the car. It is clearly a squeek in the front suspension. In the driveway, it squeeks when you push down on the car (compressing the suspension). It also squeeks sometimes when you turn the wheel side to side.
I am having a little trouble diagnosing where the squeek is eminating from.
Any ideas on what it could be, or how to determine where the squeek is coming from????
Thanks in advance

I have a very similar problem. after driving a while, there is a muted squeek from the front end. sounds to me like control arm bushings, or maybe even strut tops. I'm having my suspension changed over next week, and that should solve it. oh and you are 100% right DC it drives you crazy!

Thanks for the replies.
Brandon: Thanks, are you referring to part number 997-343-018-00? The upper shock mounting plate.
My Toy: Let us know how your new suspension works out. Are you installing the m030 suspension?
I also find a pelican reference that says.
"Newer Poly-Graphite suspension bushings have a tendency to squeak sometimes when they are installed. Minimize the risk that you might have squeaky bushings by apply our heavy-duty formulated bushing grease."
And then they list some suspension bushing grease for sale.
Do these cars use poly-graphite bushings? Is it possible that it could be a control arm bushing squeaking, and require disassembling, lubricating, and reassembling the suspension?
Again, thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry for the delayed reply, yes that is the correct part number. However I was refering to P/N 996.343.515.05 which is the deep-groove ball bearing with housing

996.343.515.05 is # 11 in the following exploded diagram from pet
It seems reasonable that this could be the issue, does anyone know if this is s common problem. By the way the weather here turned turned a bit cooler and the squeek temporarly stopped. It warmed up the past couple days, and it has started again.

our cars don't use poly-graphite bushings. in addition to the strut top-mount, the control arms can cause this. sometimes it's the rubber bushing in the control arm, but usually it's the ball joint. the only solution is to replace the control arm. vertex auto sells rebuilt ones w/ core exchange for $175.
