It actually does look pretty nice, as hard tops go. I don't drive mine on the salt and calcium laden NE winter roads, and I have heated seats, so pretty much any other time of year that top is dropped baby.....so not much need for a hard top here.

I am wtih you Judd944 . . . .I live in CA and the top is down all year . . . .even in the mornings. I got a boxster b/c I wanted a convertible. I would have got a Cayman if I wanted a hardtop.
