What are '03 S selling for over the winter months ?

I definitely found the 02+ to have a premium when I shopped for one in November. Ended up with an 01S, 52K miles for 20K. I would bet you could get a decent 03 for 30 even with some research and patience.

I recently became a RENNLIST member when I bought my '03S Boxster in mid October, '07. I can comment on California prices, where the winter months really do not have too much of an effect on Bosxter prices from what I researched.
The one I purchased had 26,900 miles with 18" LT alloy wheels, sport package with rocker panels, PSM, heated seats, litronics (w/ washes), all service paperwork, and even brand new tires for the amazing price of $30,000.00. Also got a thumbs up on the PPI . . make sure you get that done. This was the lowest mileage and most optioned I could find at the time in the state of CA. As far as the overall market for when I was looking . . base '03's were going for around $30k - $34K and S models from $34K - $38K mostly dependent on if the car had PSM and mileage of course.
Enjoy your search. I love the car and use it as my daily driver.

It probably depends on what part of the country. In the East, the 03s right now are selling for about $25K base model, $30K for the S. Oddly enough, dealer pricing is at least as competitive as private sales. Seems like some sellers overvalue their cars a bit. A good dealer price on a Porsche certified car is hard to beat.

schwank, it looks like we got similar deals on our cars! I got my 01S with 58k on it in June 07. I paid 20.5k and it also needed tires. mine has Xenon but no Nav like yours does. we have the same 18" wheels too!
I think we got a great deal!

Judd I want to see pics of yours. Seal grey on boxster red must look awesome. My fiancee hates red interiors though... heck, she doesn't like most red things. Something about redheads and not having red accessories or some crap.
Our car needed tires - we went with BFG Pole Position All-Seasons. We have heated, crested seats too. With fresh tires and an alignment it is a hoot to drive. The hardtop keeps it nice and toasty inside. I'll be doing pads and rotors all around next weekend.

01 S prices...
I paid $20,500 on my 01 S on April, with Tip, memory seats, litronics, new tires on 17"s (which I sold immediately and got 18's), cd-changer etc...
I've done a few mod since then...
