Default Parts Source (Tip)

I hope someone can help. Our Boxster S developed a transmission leak (at the same time as it developed some broken suspension bits). Not warranty type problems. Originally thought it was the flange seal; but, it is the flange itself. The flange is a small cast piece that holds the seal and a bearing, and bolts on with three bolts. After extensive checking with Porsche this $50 part is not available without the entire transmission attached. This is a tiptronic car. Porsche says the Audi part looks the same and may work. Does anyone know of a salvage place that may have such parts?

Do you know if the part is the same for the tip and the manual? I have a dismantled 5 speed I can get the part from if they are the same.

thanks for the tips - currently trying to source the Audi part to see if it is the same. Next German Auto dismantlers. I don't know about the five speed, but it seems to me that the differential case is totally different. It still could be a common part.
