Try LA Porshe dismantlers. I believe I have seen them there. Not vouching for their reputation as I have never used them.

I'd check with a dealer before paying 5-6K on Ebay. I paid $6,250 for my 3.4 at a dealer, albeit that was a couple of years ago.

My friend at ngtmotorsport.com has 3.4 from a 996 with 26000miles for $3500.
Comes with wiring harness,ecu,ac compressor and altenator.
