Planning on buying a 2008 speed yellow Boxster next year to replace my yellow 2002 Miata SE. Has anyone got any photos of a striped Boxster. I really like the white stripes on my miata.

I've never seen a Boxster with "racing stripes" and I never want to.
No offense but I think racing stripes (in the traditional sense) on a Boxster would look dumb as can be - I'm open to be proven wrong. Racing stripes aren't really a Porsche thing. When you actually have a fast car, you don't have to put racing stripes on it.

Hey if you want stripes, I think you could get a photoshop picture to see what they look like.
I have only seen stripes once on a Porsche 944, it was white with a blue stripe, it looked ok to me.
remeber it is your choice, so do what you want!

Just my personal opinion, but racing stripes are a ricer thing, for all those little honda civic wannabees, or maybe a dodge viper here and there, but not on a Porsche. It just wouldn't look right on a car with beautiful curves.
To each his own, but I'm against it, for the record.

Photoshop some stripes first from different perspectives (or add strips to a Boxster in Forza Motorsports 2 for the 3d effect) and make sure you are happy.
You could go vinyl stripes so the next owner could remove them and then buff the paint to match.
Just a few ideals...![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Would I get stripes? Heck no...

While I guess it is to each their own, but I always like those green/yellow combos on the Aston Martins and such for the 50's and 60's Le Mans - the ones where the grille was surrounded by yellow and it streamed back in the center of the hood (or bonnet). I figured if I ever owned a Miata, I might do that one like it. Never did own a Miata though. And my 911 and Boxster are staying stripe free.

I have to agree with everyone else. I don't think stripes on a Boxster would do it justice. Hell, I didn't even add a front license plate to my car because I didn't want to ruin its beautiful lines.
