Post Q's Boxster S Color

Q, what is the "offical" color of your boxster S?
It looks like a platinum and much brighter than the standard artic silver.

Toolpants is on the money - Artic Silver.

That said, you have good eyes. The 03 is a touch brighter than the other [Artic Silver] cars.

I even went to the trouble of having the 993 cut and poished thinking that it was darker due to ingrained dirt. - not the case.

Maybe a batch or year model variation

Well...The brighter the better. I am planning on an S for 04 or 05 and would like it to be a lustrous silver almost platinum. Q, yours has that glow. especially the 356. Maybe by 05 the will lighten it up or offer up a new version. I am a detailing fanatic with a blk car but you can only go so far with it until you are consistantly depressed about this tiny scratch or that little nick. Q... your garage reminds me of where Dirk Pitt lives. You know, in an old airplane Hangar with his classic cars and aircraft lying below his apartment. Dirk Pitt is the hero in all of Clive Cusslers Novels. Anyway I am renovating my 4 car garage and it will hopefully turn out similar to yours. Then.. I have to work another 30 years just to fill it properly.

I just sold my black X5 after 5 months.
One of the contributing factors was the heartbreak at constantly seeing it dirty several hours after being washed

FREAKY !
someone else mentioned Dirk to me recently.
I had no idea...

4 car garage - cool - post pics when its done

its 234m2 on the ground
and 306m2 with the upstairs office
~ eek, that it large when put that way <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
I am about to pull the 356 coupe apart.
No doubt that will make it look small with bits scattered everywhere.
