Post Boxster S

Hello folks,

It is now a little over a month that I own a Boxster S, I have to say that I don't love her, I adore her!!!
This car is simply awesome..I leave in Switzerland where one of our most precious assets are obviously the alps..hundreds of roads that seem to have been made for this car..Cruising on these roads with this car is awesome, the handling is out of this world!!!

For those of you, worried about those anaconda ****heads driving WRX, Audi and so on...simply ask them: do you own a Porsche? Reply: no I don't . Your reply: I DO!!!! End of the discussion!!!!

What would be the first mod, you guys would do on a Boxster S? Exhaust, air filter, ECU upgrade? What is the best price-performance option?

Thanks as always and drive safely....

No mods, just driving it. I like it as is.

And for the tetes-de-maird, if you have to explain it, they don't get it!

Porsche - There is no substitute!

Tires! I would suggest getting more aggressive tires. You will be even more amazed. The stock Michelin's are good, but you can get better.

Of course those are the only mods (if you can call it that) I've made to date so I don't have a lot of experience in this area.

The one performance mod I've made is the BMC air filter. It doesn't really enhance power (not noticeably, anyway) but the sound is great!

My car has 030 suspension ("special chassis rigidly tuned"). You might consider adding this to your car if you do not presently have it.

I've heard that significant performnce gains are to be had through cold air intake, exhaust, headers, and ECU - but ONLY if you take the plunge and do 'em all in concert. Just changing ONE of these won't improve performance, and some aftermarket exhausts may have a negative effect.

Rock, I've done Intake, headers, ecu, catback exhaust, etc.. I'd start with Intake and then go to headers and then ecu. The car is significantly faster with the mods. Email me for details.
