Is there a way to obtain a dealer service history on a given car using the VIN number?

Porsche has to keep some sort of database. Is this available to the owner?

If you know the dealer where the car has been serviced you could get a run down through them via the VIN.

Porsche nationally (1.800.PORSCHE) only tracks recalls, to be sure they have been completed. The dealer tracks service & or repairs. You would have to know what dealer worked on it.

Any dealer can get the warranty work done to the car as that information is shared in their computer system. For service work, like changing oil, you have to know which dealer did the work as that type of info is not shared b/w dealers.
