j959,
People don't have a problem with a non-Porsche owner contributing to and enjoying these forums. What some of us have a problem with is people who pretend they have a car and who go on to say inflammatory comments about those who do own a Porsche (this thread is a case in point). Even if you think a 996 or a 986 is a "poser's car", do you really have any authority to come on these forums and say that? Some might argue that a person who pretends they have a Porsche is a "poser" ...

William S, well said, And J959, what did you expect when you posted this topic? That everyone was going to agree with you? C'mon, this is a porsche forum. If there is any flaming, you asked for it.

If this guyed owned a 959 and called a 996 owner a poser then he would be called an arogant piece of S***, but i might have some respect for him cuz he owned a 959.........If he owned a 944 and called a 996 owner a poser then, I would haved called him a jealous piece of S***.........but he has niether, so we can call him a poser for posting on a porsche board without owning one

god u all take everything so seriously...
if u look at my original post, i have a surprise face there, faces normally mean things are light hearted,
if u look at my next comment, about the colours of the car, maybe you will see i was joking....
everybody talks about the colours of cars, they talk about bike colours at my bike forum...
peronally, i dont think any porsche is ACTUALLY a POSERS car....
they are all thoroughbreds designed and built by the most successful and respected sports car company in the world, hell even the cayenne (i love it) is really a sports 4wd...
besidies what ive said, ive got nothing else to say or prove...

ahhh ill take back my last statement...i have got something else to say...
the cars arent 'poser' cars, but alot of the people driving them are....
still, most of the people on this board or going to track days, club events i would assume have bought the car for the right reasons....

Mr Ferrari, what exactly are you doing on this board? And calling the people on this board girls, and so up themselves, is unfortunately in my opinion childish.....

Shouldn't the appropriate tags be "Mr My-Dad-Owns-the-Ferrari-Not-Me" and "J959-In-My-Wildest-Wet-Dreams"??
I thought that tags should have at least some applicability to the poster. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
