Anyone have a Seal Grey hardtop that they would like to swap for a black metallic?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,
I have a black metallic hardtop for my 2001 Boxster that is very nice, basically like new. Anyone out there have a Seal Grey hardtop that they'd like to swap in like condition? I"m not interested in having to ship, but if you lived within 300 miles of Dallas, TX, I'd be willing to make the drive to swap them out. I'm happy with my black metallic one, but I'm ready to try one that matches my body color. Thanks,

If you find one that is not available for swap, let me know. I will buy your black so you can buy the grey.

if you have trouble finding one, I had mine painted for $650 at a very good shop, was without it for a week

Yeah, I might end up going the get it painted route as nothing has turned up so far. Was that $650.00 for everything or did you have to do any DIY on it for prep or finishing?

$650 was a drop off top, they strip everything minus back window, then they paint and rebuild it

had I wanted the back window taken off they'd have charged me $900, as it is I can only see arctic silver if I really, really peal back the rubber molding
