Boxster vs Boxster S Owner's Manual
Just curious -- I have a 2000 Boxster S (bought it used), from California and imported to Canada. Anyway, it came with a "Boxster" owner's manual, but it didn't differentiate between the S and non-S. Not that there's any difference operationally.
Is there in fact, a different manual for the S's?

Let us know. Since you have a used car....
The first page has a part number. It starts with WKD 986 021 and then 2 more numbers. 99 for a 1999 as an example. 00 for a 2000.
The picture on the front cover changed for 2000 when the Boxster S came out. 1997-1999 were just Boxster with a different picture.

Well this is strange... This is the number found on the first page:
WKD 986 021 99
But it's a 2000 Boxster S... and I bought it from a friend's brother, who was the only owner. Weird, eh?

I'll have to email him...
