If it is as it claims, 9k is not that bad actually it's an awesome deal…..

Some observations, it’s badge’d as an S, but non of the visible signs are their to say it is???

This guy bought it and is selling it 4k miles later???
What’s up with that, maybe some mech told him a major repair is coming…

If a PPI passes, hell I may buy it for spare parts

It's not an S, No S until 2000MY anyways...
But, still a good deal if it's solid.

S has diff grill, calipers, exhaust tips etc….

I will leave it alone, but if you buy it, please let us know how it goes

S came out in 2000, 3.2L engine, suspension, Big red brakes, Center radiator, dual exhaust..etc..

There is a whole thread on this car on 986online.com, someone carfaxed it and it looks good. As much as you can trust a carfax.

Interesting. Per the VIN it is a 1998 made in Germany.

The S badge and clear tail lights do not bother me on a 2.5. They are the led style lights. Carrera wheels. Front trunk lid does not look original.

Arena Red with a Boxster Red interior, with seat covers. And the top is red.

Being resold 2 1/2 months later.

Looks like the real deal to me. Black and not brown interior and no GT3 delete, but I remember them as no cost options.

But it has a tip transmission....

great deal. even if it needs another engine buy one of those 3.2L on ebay for $4000!

I got my 1997 (65000) for $12,000 on ebay and thought that was a steal...I'd buy this if I had the funds just for a 2nd one for the wife!
