Anyone have a sound clip of a GHL muffler on a Boxster?

Just imagine your ears in pain and things inside the car buzzing from the resonation. Dont bother telling your passenger anything. They wont hear you. The company is straight up about telling you they are not really recommended for the street. I had a hard head and put one on anyway; took it off the next day.

I couldn't stand the noise, either. I honestly think it was louder than my race car

come on guys, it only resonates at 3k rpm. The rest of the range it sounds great. At least I liked it. But it IS loud.

Here are two clips of my '99 with the GHL, I loved the sound of it. If you have a later model with the dual cats, it kills some of the resonance.

X2Board, nice clips.
I have GHL exhausts on my 99 C2 and love them. Yeah a little louder than usual but mean. My wife says that she can hear me take off when I leave our neighbourhood and hit the main road.

ehhhh...... I think I like the Dansk Sport Pressed muffler more now... For the sake of my passengers later...

However, when it's just me, I'd do a GHL with NO CATS

No, just the exterior.

I wish I had never sold that car, especially now that I'm in North Carolina with a much longer top down season.

I wanted an ' 05 STI and my wife and I have a "one fun car" agreement so I had to say bye to the Box, to add insult to injury, the person that ended up buying it from the dealer 40 miles away, lived in my town in CT, so I had the "pleasure" of seeing my beloved car being driven around by some other guy with permagrin. Why does the grass always look greener on the other side of the fence ?

That would be rough seeing your Boxster having an affair with someone else

I have a Borla exhaust and it is the same as a GHL. It is only bad between 2500 and 3k so if you drive like a grandma it is good. Especially when you drive the canyons and it bounces off of the walls. I really like the burble the borla gives when you let off the throttle after a hard acceleration. Way to cool.
